Volunteer Role: Music Director / Lead

Position Overview
The Music Director / Lead shapes the musical and worship experience for MCG Outreach Ministries. This role is responsible for overseeing virtual and live worship sessions, guiding musicians and vocalists, and curating uplifting musical content that invites the presence of God and enhances ministry gatherings.
Key Responsibilities
Worship Leadership & Curation: Plan and lead worship sets for virtual events, prayer meetings, and special ministry gatherings in alignment with the spiritual tone of the ministry.
Team Coordination & Rehearsals: Recruit, mentor, and coordinate volunteer musicians and singers, scheduling and leading regular virtual or physical rehearsals.
Musical Direction: Select songs, arrange music, and provide creative direction to ensure high-quality musical presentations for both recorded media and live ministry programs.
Collaborative Planning: Work closely with Ministry Leadership and event teams to integrate seamless musical transitions into all major programs and services.
Ministry Alignment & Prayer: Attend the monthly virtual core team meeting and participate in the weekly virtual League of Intercessors prayer meeting to stay aligned with the spiritual and operational direction of the ministry.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience or desire in leading Christian worship, directing vocalists, or managing a church music ministry.
Proficiency in vocal performance, instrumentation (e.g., keyboard, guitar), or music arrangement.
Strong interpersonal, coaching, and organizational skills with a collaborative and encouraging spirit.
