Volunteer Role: Operations & Event Director
Organization: MCG Outreach Ministries
Location: Remote / Canada
Time Commitment: 1–3 hours per week (includes required meetings)
Reports To: Ministry Leadership
Position Overview
The Operations & Event Director oversees the logistical backbone of MCG Outreach Ministries. This role is responsible for coordinating internal workflows, streamlining ministry operations, and planning major virtual or physical events, ensuring every initiative runs smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with the ministry's mission.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Strategy & Oversight: Streamline day-to-day administrative and operational processes to support ongoing ministry projects and expansions.
Event Planning & Execution: Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of ministry-wide events, conferences, and special outreach programs from concept to completion.
Resource & Project Management: Manage project timelines, track deliverables, and coordinate with team members and City Coordinators to ensure resource availability.
Process Improvement: Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), templates, and organizational systems to enhance team productivity.
Ministry Alignment & Prayer: Attend the monthly virtual core team meeting and participate in the weekly virtual League of Intercessors prayer meeting to stay aligned with the spiritual and operational direction of the ministry.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience in project management, event planning, or operational administration.
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills when working with diverse remote teams.
