What We Believe
This post outlines our statement of faith, providing a clear understanding of what we believe and stand for as a ministry.
The Bible
We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old Testament and New Testament are the inerrant, inspired, and infallible Word of God. God’s Word is the final authority for faith and life.
The Trinity
We believe there is only one God, and He has chosen to exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, all equally divine and working together in perfect unity.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus is God and the only begotten Son of God the Father. He was born of a Virgin, and died on the cross for the sins of mankind. He rose from the dead on the third day, ascended into heaven, to sit at the right hand of the Father, and will return again in power and glory.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is God. He is the comforter and teacher of all things and he dwells within us, uniting us to Jesus Christ.
Salvation
We believe Salvation is a gift from God, not something we can earn. We are saved by grace through faith in Christ Jesus.
The Gift of The Holy Spirit
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, empowering believers for a life of service and witness. We also believe that when the Holy Spirit came upon the whole body of believers on the day of Pentecost it was the fulfillment of the announcement made by John the Baptist and the promises of Christ to His own during His earthly ministry.
The Great Commission
We believe the importance of the Great Commission, as we are called to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything God has commanded.
